Kelly Aalseth Coaching

I'm interested in being coached!

What is my role as a life coach?

As a coach, I attentively listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help people creatively ideate to take the next steps towards their personal or professional goals. I am a “thinking-partner” to help people hear their own thoughts and desires and grow in self-awareness. I help people take responsibility for their own growth and discovery.

I love the story in the Bible of a woman who was willing to do anything to find relief from her chronic hemorrhaging. Her freedom came when she had an encounter with Jesus who helped her to notice what was happening inside of her and who took the time to listen to her whole story (Mark 5:28-33).

All of us have a story that needs to be heard and having a coach come alongside us to draw out our curiosities, desires, and creativity can often set us on a path towards transformation and wholeness.

Who can benefit from coaching?

Anyone who wants to grow in self-awareness and responsibility! In our coaching sessions, you get to set the agenda and that agenda can change mid-call or between sessions. What matters is that you’re willing to put in the work and wanting to grow. Some examples of topics people have brought into my coaching sessions are:

  • navigating desires around career/ adjusting to a new job or promotion

  • wanting to thrive in relationships with a friend, family member, or supervisor

  • wanting to grow spiritually/ have more quality or consistent times with God

  • desiring to grow in a certain skill that is useful professionally or personally

  • wanting to be more influential in leadership

  • working through a character-issue/ wanting to become their best selves
