Asking the Deep Questions about Life, Loss, and Leadership
Hi! I’m Kelly. I have a lot of questions about Jesus, life, death, and what it means to be a spiritual leader. And I like to write!
On this website, you’ll find my posts and books that I’ve written. I love to share my life with others so that we can learn and grow together.
A bit of my story: I lost my 1.5-year-old daughter, Julia, to leukemia in May of 2024. My spouse, Mike, and I struggled with four years of infertility and know the IVF world well. I’ve also had fibromyalgia, a chronic pain disorder, since 2011. A lot of my writing includes what I have learned and am currently processing about how to follow Jesus through grief and pain.
Vocationally, I coach and train college students and young adults to be ministers with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. I have a MA in Theology from Fuller Seminary and a Professional Coaching Credential through the International Coaching Federation. You’ll find my lessons from my studies and my coaching style sprinkled throughout my writing.
I hope my writing encourages you in your own journey, no matter where you’re at. I love hearing from you! Feel free to post a comment!
