Tips for Jesus
Jesus, here's what you need to know:
Julia needs her milk in the morning.
And a banana. She calls them "nanas." Then scramble her an egg.
If it's a special day, make her pancakes. But she'll want to mix it up herself. You'll have to mix it more, but don't show her what you're doing or she'll be sad she didn't do enough.
She eats her lunch at 11:30 and takes her nap at noon.
Read her a book, put her in her sleep sack, and sing "Jesus loves me" to her. Only, instead of "me" say "us." We sing "Jesus loves us."
Make sure she has bunny. If you want to make her really happy, give her double bunny. She might also want Elephant, Bear, and Octopus.
When she wakes from her nap, she might want to go to the park, or the zoo. Maybe the library. Or you can take her to Hobby Lobby and smell all the candles. She really likes going to the toy aisle of Target and playing with the toy steering wheel on the floor. Or you can go on a hunt for the lawn mower. We sing "Oh where oh where did the lawn mower go? Oh where oh where could it be? Oh where oh where did the lawn mower go, it's just my Julia and me."
She knows to pray before dinner. And she'll definitely want to join in the dinner conversation. Perhaps even sing some songs. After dinner, bubble bath time. Oh, and when you start running the water, scream together loudly. It's just a thing we do. She'll want to play with some measuring cups. PoPo taught her that.
Bed time is the same as nap time...only more books. Lots of books. And maybe some coloring. And also some ukulele. She might want to sing "Somewhere over the rainbow."
And one more thing, Jesus. This is key. You've got to send me some pictures and videos every once in a while or I'm going to worry. Please let me know how it's going, every step of the way.
Give her a big kiss on the lips for me.
